The similarity between Willam Dean's several double-framed 4-4-0 classes is obvious as illustrated by this 1904 portrait of Atbara 3412 'Singapore' at Swindon Station. As is evident, the famous 'City of Truro' is identical in most outward respects. The short-lived 'full segment' style of nameplate is also well illustrated in this view.
