How do I buy a photograph?
There is no need to become a Registered User to purchase pictures, but this is recommended so that your name and address are stored and you don't have to re-input them each time. (You will also automatically receive our monthly newsletter which tells you about the new pictures added during the previous month).
To buy, simply put your selected images into your personal Shopping Basket and proceed to the checkout. A step-by-step guide to buying pictures can be downloaded here.
(Please note that we have placed a large number of pictures in our "Work in Progress" folders - these are not yet cleaned up and readied for purchase and therefore they do not have a "Buy" or "Add to Cart" button when displayed. If you want to buy any of these just send us an email quoting the full name of the picture and we will prepare it for you and make it available to purchase).
When you have decided which pictures you want to buy, click on them individually or select them all and then click on the “Buy” button. This takes you to a screen where you select which type and size of image you want.
Currently there are seven alternative sizes of printed image. Digital images can be purchased for personal, book or magazine use and are subject to our standard Licence Terms.
Note that if you purchase printed images these are sold solely for personal use. If you subsequently wish to use them in a book or magazine then an additional royalty fee is payable. Please contact us if this is the case and we will agree an appropriate fee with you.
Choose which you require and then click the “Add to Cart” button.
The system then allows you to Preview and Configure your pictures (cropping or adjusting to fit)
IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU CHECK YOU HAVE ALL OF THE PICTURE IN THE PRINT AREA - IF THE ORIGINAL IMAGE IS SQUARE THEN YOU WILL NEED TO MAKE AN ADJUSTMENT BECAUSE OTHERWISE YOU MAY LOSE PART OF THE PICTURE WHICH YOU WANT TO PRINT.
When you are satisfied with each picture, click the “Checkout Now” button to proceed to the checkout where you can pay either by credit card or Paypal account.
