6007 1960s Wolverhampton Stafford Road

Peter Kerslake says "There is plenty of detail from the cab visible in this picture of 6007 King William III undergoing repair at Stafford Road M.P.D. to where it had been allocated since September 1959 and before being withdrawn in September 1962.
An Old Oak Common engine from new in 1928 until six months spent at Laira from March until September 1959, 6007 was nominally rebuilt following derailment at Shrivenham in January, 1936 although it was actually a completely new engine".
