6007 1959-05-19 Shell Cove

GWR King No 6007 King William III with the down Sunday 'Cornish Riviera' at Shell Cove on May 19, 1959. The train is travelling down the Up line due to single line working being in force.
Peter Kerslake adds " 6007 has just emerged from the short 58 yard long Clerk's Tunnel with Shell Cove beach and Horse rocks visible in the background. It was allocated to Laira two months before this image after having spent 31 years at Old Oak Common."
