6005 1929 Norton Fitzwarren

GWR King No 6005 King George II at Norton Fitzwarren on the Up 'Cornish Riviera' in 1929, with a bullion van at the front. This location was near the scene of the worst accident involving a King when 6028 King George VI overran two successive stop signals at danger in November 1940. The engine and the first six coaches were derailed, five of the coaches wrecked and 26 people were killed.
