Old Oak Common's 6003, King George IV is on the 7.15.a.m. from Plymouth to Paddington here in this view, the engine retaining its original style of inside valve spindle covers and with no strengthened lifting holes indicating that it has not had replacement front frames as not all members of the class were so fitted during overhauls at Swindon Works and my records indicate that 6003 was one of the class not to be so improved during its lifetime.
