Peter Kerslake says "4056 Princess Margaret, standing alongside the stock sidings at Bedminster, was the last of the class to remain in service, being withdrawn from Bristol in October 1957 and outliving 4061 Glastonbury Abbey and 4062 Malmesbury Abbey by seven and eleven months respectively. Built in 1914 the engine received the elbow steam pipes, so characteristic of many of the class, in August 1949."
