LNER Gresley 'V1' class 2-6-2 Tank No. 2919. Built at Doncaster in August 1931, rebuilt to class 'V3' in February 1957 and withdrawn in December 1962 as BR No. 67619.

Peering out from between an array of tenders in August 1937 at Glasgow's Eastfield MPD, 2919 is ready for its next turn of duty. Note the destination board brackets on the smokebox.
