Peter Kerslake writes "I have caught Parkestone shed's 61006 setting off from Ipswich and about to enter the tunnel at the London end of Ipswich station whilst I was working there between July and September 1955.
Probably more at home on the Liverpool Street to Harwich workings it could well be heading for the Essex coast in this view or perhaps working up to the Capital.
Note the white "sighting board" on the bank, situated there to aid visibility for footplate men on through workings of the signals".
