Peter Kerslake writes "It's a Saturday afternoon in early 1955, on one of my visits to Peterborough North from Kings Lynn where I was working at that time , but the sun seems to have vanished and it's looking a bit dull as 60030's driver gives a warning blast on its chime whistle, heralding its non stop approach with a clear road signalled through platform two, Kings Cross bound .
