I suspect from its condition that this image of quot; King George V quot; dates from shortly after the engine's overhaul at Bridgnorth by Messrs . Walker and Williams during which it received new colours before returning to work a number of Enthusiasts' Specials over the forthcoming years.br/ 6000 made a number of visits to Chester from late 1980 but also worked to a variety of destinations so this location remains to be identified .br/ br/ Agree with Peterrsquo;s suggestion of location. The date I believe is a lot earlier, 26 April 1975. On that day hundreds of enthusiasts and photographers descended on Chester to witness the arrival of two steam hauled railtours from Hereford, hauled by 6000 amp; 35028. 6000 worked in from Hereford on the Merchant Navy Locomotive Preservation Society ldquo;Return to Steam No.3rdquo; and returned on the Mamp;GNJRS ldquo; The Mayflowerrdquo;. 35028 working the other two legs to amp; from Hereford
