GWR Castle class 4-6-0 No 5097 Sarum Castle leaves Dawlish on an up express in 1953.

Peter Kerslake add "This immaculate Castle shedded at Shrewsbury will have come on to this 'West to North' train at Newton Abbot. The coaches are equally well turned out and most are of L.M.S. origin.
Dawlish had a long extended platform, necessary to accomodate the many holidaymakers."
