Observation coach 1963-08 Achanalt
The remotely situated ex-Highland Railway station at Achanalt on the Kyle of Lochalsh line, is still operational over 150 years after its opening in 1870! This lovely image taken from a passing train, shows the former ‘Devon Belle’ observation saloon No. M280 to good advantage. August 1963.
