Ex-LNER locomotives were not a common sight at Crewe and those that arrived were usually on cross-region excursions and similar workings. Carrying a '330' headcode, ex-LNER Thompson 'B1' 61186 of Colwick MPD (38A) is departing with a down train in September 1953.
