1950s/1960s views of the ex-Great Central Railway's Guide Bridge complex near Manchester are usually marred by the arrival of the overhead catenary. Prior to that event, we can see the full extent of Brookside Sidings on the east side of the Station as seen here in 1951. Arriving with a train for Manchester is ex-LNER Thompson 'B1' 4-6-0 No. 61204.
