At York MPD on Wednesday, 12th October 1966, Thompson 'B1' class 4-6-0s Nos. 61238 originally named 'Leslie Runciman', 61017 originally named 'Bushbuck’, 61216, and 61337, built by NBL of Glasgow in September 1947, January 1947, and July 1947, and by Darlington in January 1947. They were withdrawn in February 1967, November 1966, January 1967, and September 1967, respectively.
