It's June 1959 and ex-LNER Gresley 'D49/2' 4-4-0 No. 62739 'The Badsworth' has been parked up in the sidings just outside the environs of Scarborough Station. A few crewmen are no doubt enjoying a well-earned break outside their 'bothy', though a hard steel rail is perhaps not the most comfortable of perches! 62739 was built at Darlington in May 1932 as LNER No. 232 and was withdrawn in Oct. 1960.
