Passing below one of the fine signal gantries as she leaves Scarborough westbound in July 1959, is ex-LNER Gresley D49/2 No. 62739 'The Badsworth'. It was built at Darlington in May 1932 as LNER No. 322 and was withdrawn in Oct. 1960.
