Unidentified Riddles 'WD' class 2-8-0. Passing Carr Bridge at Mytholmroyd in the Calder Valley with a westbound coal train, an unidentified 'WD' lays down a dense exhaust across the Yorkshire coutryside in March 1965. Steam still regularly passes this way as it is on one of the 'approved' routes. What is not so 'approved' is the unchecked lineside vegetation that has now ruined so many photographic viewpoints hereabouts.
