NER 1925 1910s York Clifton

NER 1925 1910s York Clifton

North Eastern Railway Worsdell 'Q' class 4-4-0s No. 1925 (pilot) and unidentified sister locomotive (train). 1925 built at Gateshead in Oct. 1897 and withdrawn in Nov. 1938 as LNER No. 1925.
You are standing very close to the running lines just north of York in about 1910 watching a Down Express. Your head is under a black cloth, the image on your screen is upside down and reversed left to right. You have ONE chance to get it right and you press the shutter as 1925 and it's TPO train roar past. Unfortunately, you won't know if you've succeeded in your 'capture' until the glass plate emerges from the developer and fix. Oh dear! 110 years later mistakes like this still happen, but we can rejoice in the result even though...
