The last class of inside-cylindered 4-4-0s to be built in the world were five of these George Glover 'U' class built for the Great Northern Railway (Ireland) by Beyer Peacock in 1948. A further five had been built in 1915 - 33 years earlier! In its splendid blue livery, No. 201 'Meath' is doing a spell of freight van shunting in June 1954 at Dundalk Crossing, Co. Louth, Eire. It was withdrawn in 1965 as UTA No. 66.
