CIE 651 1954-06-18 Bray

Alongside the MPD and taking centre stage at Bray, Co. Wicklow in June 1954 is an ex-Great Southern Rly. Martin Acock 'G2' class 0-6-0 No. 651. She was built at Broadstone Works, Dublin in 1895 and was withdrawn in 1959. Also in view is an ex-Cork, Bandon & South Coast Rly 'Bandon Tank' class 4-6-0 Tank No. 466. This was a Beyer Peacock built engine circa 1914 and was withdrawn in 1961. Both locomotives are carrying their CIE numbers.
