CIE 800 1954-06-15 Limerick Junction Station

Now here's a rare capture on film! Not just one but two of the fine ex-Great Southern & Western Rly. Joseph R.Bazin '800' class 4-6-0s meeting at Limerick Junction Station in June 1954. No.800 (nearest camera) was built at Inchicore in 1939 and No.802 in 1940. They were given Irish Gaelic names of 'Maedb' (800) and Tailte (802). 802 was withdrawn in 1955 but 800 lasted until 1962 and was preserved.
n.b. Apologies for any errors in this description. Irish railways are not my strong point but I have tried to provide correct details where known!
