Sitting on the turntable at Dublin's Broadstone MPD in 1950 is an ex-Midland & Great Western Railway Martin Acock 'LM' (CIE 'J18') class 0-6-0 No. 584. A sister engine No. 501 is also seen. This class of 22 locomotives were built between 1893 and 1895 at Broadstone and also by outside contractors. They had all been withdrawn by 1965.
