A slightly lower quality image but still with considerable historic interest. This is Pennyburn MPD in Londonderry, pictured on a dreary June day in 1954. Londonderry & Lough Swilly Rly. 4-6-2 Tank No. 15 is sitting outside the ramshackle shed with the remains of another locomotive alongside. This may be because operations had ceased (or were about to cease) here in the same year. The locomotive was built by Hudswell Clarke of Leeds in 1899 and withdrawn in 1954. n.b. Apologies for any errors in this description. Irish railways are not my strong point but I have tried to provide correct details where known!
