IOMR 1 1953 Castletown I.O.M

The Isle of Man's railways have always attracted (and continue to attract) enthusiasts from far and wide. The lovely fleet of mainly Beyer Peacock 2-4-0s have served the island since the 1870s are undoubtedly the stars of the show. Here is 1873 built No.1 'Sutherland' (now preserved) is passing over the Silver Burn River bridge at Castletown Station in 1953 with a train for Port Erin.
