Peter Kerslake writes "Clun Castle on the 5.30pm to Gloucester. 7029 had been specially selected for the 12.45pm from Gloucester to Swindon as Flying Scotsman was visiting Swindon that day. Swindon shed had closed to steam so 7029 had to be turned and watered in the Works before reurning to Gloucester at 5.30.pm. Seen here waiting to return home
A work colleague and fellow enthusiast James Curtis , together with his wife and two young children are on the right of my picture on the platform before joining the return train back to Gloucester."
