7029 "Clun Castle" was still in BR ownership at the date of this view, 22nd. June, 1965 taken on Gloucester Horton Road shed's coaling line but had been "earmarked" for preservation and subsequent move to Tyseley. The GWR style bufferbeam number had ben applied as a result of the large number of steam specials being worked by 7029 but it was also still engaged on BR duties, mainly freights in the Gloucester area. Nameplates had been removed to prevent theft.
