CR 733 1900s Carlisle

CR 733 1900s Carlisle

Caledonian Railway McIntosh '721' or Dunalastair 1' class 4-4-0 No. 733. Built at St. Rollox in May 1896 and withdrawn in October 1932 as LMS No. 14353. One of the famed 'Dunalastair 1' class 4-4-0s No. 733 is making a spirited departure with (as noted on the original print) a down newspaper special from Carlisle circa 1901. The Caledonian route indicators in front of the chimney indicates a WCML train.
