The newly built Metro-Cammell sets after arrival at Castle Bromwich station with its multi-lingual ‘Alight here for the Fair’ sign. Their ‘yellow diamond’ coupling made the ‘Metro-Cams’ compatible only with the Derby ‘Lightweights’ and Cravens parcels units and this led to their early withdrawal at the end of the 1960s.
