7808 7029 1966-10-25 Tuffley Junction Gloucester
At 11.30.a.m. on Tuesday , the 25th. October 1966 7808'Cookham Manor" and 7029 'Clun Castle" are running back to Ashchurch and Tyseley respectively after having been at Bristol Bath Road Depot's Open Day on Saturday the 22nd.October . The location is the Gloucester Avoiding line , the spot being known as'Two Bridges" (the line down to Eastgate Station is out of shot on the left ) and the engines uncoupled at South Junction a few minutes later to go their separate ways. 7029 , now in private ownership , was later to be repainted and overhauled at Tyseley before its next scheduled special working on the 5th March the following year to Chester. 7808 was in store at the Dowty Works at Ashchurch at this time in company with former LMS 46201'Princess Elizabeth".
