HR 115 1910s near Luncarty

Their place in history assured as Britain's first 4-6-0s, the Highland Railway 'Big Goods' designed by David Jones are relatively rarely photographed 'out on the line' in HR days. Here is No. 115 with a rake of wonderfully mixed freight vehicles. She is seen in the 1910s near Luncarty in Perthshire and this location was a favourite haunt of that excellent photgrapher Henry Salmon, whose work this may well be. No. 115 was built by Sharp, Stewart & Co. of Glasgow in Nov. 1894 and was withdrawn in May 1933 as LMS No. 17298.
