W16 probably 1950s approaching Kennington Junction,

South of Oxford, approaching Kennington Junction, having just passed under “Redbridge”. The concrete block arches were part of the wartime improvements to improve freight traffic movements by installing up and down slow lines. The railcar is on the up main. The Southern Bypass crosses the line at this point and the bridge has been rebuilt again.
