BR Peppercorn 'A1' class 4-6-2 No. 60154 'Bon Accord'. Built at Doncaster in September 1949 and withdrawn in October 1965.

LMS designed Ivatt '4MT' class 2-6-0 No. 43054. Built at Doncaster in August 1950 and withdrawn in December 1966. The occupants of the gloomy and cavernous interior of Leeds' Neville Hill MPD seem to be getting thin on the ground by May 1965. Latterly used to store preserved locomotives, the shed closed to steam in June 1966. Much rebuilt, it is an important regional TMD and the site is now in its 122nd year of operation.
