Standing proudly outside Derby Works in May 1933 is brand new LMS Fowler '4P- 2-6-4 Tank No. 2387 having received the attractive LMS shaded insignia. It is in company with 'Fowler '3P' 2-6-2 Tank No. 15509 in rather less pristine condition. 2387 was built at Derby in May 1933 and 15509 was also built at Derby in May 1930. They would be withdrawn in Mar. 1962 and July 1961 as BR Nos. 42387 and 40010 respectively.
