ZM32 Wren 1957 Horwich Works

ZM32 Wren 1957 Horwich Works

Ruston & Hornsby 'LAT' class 18" gauge 0-4-0 diesel No.ZM32. Built at Lincoln in 1957 and withdrawn into preservation in 1965. Ex-Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway 18" gauge 0-4-0 Saddletank 'Wren'. Built by Beyer Peacock of Manchester in November 1887 and withdrawn into preservation in 1962.
The driver seen in the cab of ZM32 is Charlie England both locomotives were in his charge. Why ZM32 had been given such an odd number is a mystery.
