Ex-Caledonian Railway D. Drummond '264' (LMS '0F') class 0-4-0 Saddletank No. 16011. Built at St. Rollox in August 1885 as CR No. 270 and withdrawn in January 1959 as BR No. 56011.

One of the greatest joys of visiting those cathedrals of steam was to discover some ancient denizen such as this little beauty found at Inverness MPD in August 1937. Remarkably the days of 16011 were far from numbered, and she went on to give 74 years of service when the curtain call finally came as BR No. 56011 in 1959.
