GWR Manor 4-6-0 No 7821 Ditcheat Manor with the down Cambrian Coast Express leaves Shrewsbury on 20 April 1963.

Peter Kerslake says "7821 didn't have the advantage of being one of its class housed at Machynlleth when those fortunate ones there had the benefit of Shedmaster Danny Rowland's care and attention especially when turned out looking their best for this "Cambrian Coast Express" duty, hence the unkempt state of "Ditcheat Manor" here in 1963 on a very wet Shrewsbury.
7821 is recorded as having spent time housed at Newton Abbot, Tyseley, Oxley and finally here at Shrewsbury, being one of the last eight in service all condemned from Shrewsbury in late 1965 and sold to Woodham's at Barry but saved for preservation".
