GWR gas turbine No18000 passes Iver on 23rd April 1951.

Peter Kerslake adds "Photographs of either of the two gas turbines working on anything other than express passenger trains are rare but in this view 18000 displays an Express Parcels disc code and has a train of very mixed stock behind it. At this time 18000 was experiencing problems with the train steam heating boiler and this may well explain its relegation to such duties."
