5034 1956c Teignmouth
The sea wall is practically deserted and by the clothes worn by the walkers it is still summer.
Peter Kerslake points out "The headlamps show that this is a fast fitted freight rather than an express passenger working for 5034 "Corfe Castle" as she rounds the curve into Teignmouth station, westwards bound in 1956 when my shedbook shows her to have been allocated to Old Oak Common, her home shed until withdrawal came in September of 1962.
It is certainly quiet on the sea wall despite the sunshine, this location being a favoured spot for a bit of lineside photography even until the present day."
