GWR Castle class 4-6-0 No 5041 Tiverton Castle passes Flax Bourton with a down express in 1939.
Peter Kerslake says "Flax Bourton is just to the south west of Bristol on the main line to Weston super Mare, Taunton and beyond. Built in July 1935, 5041 was initially allocated to Laira, still has the original rounded top to the inside valve chest in this view."
