4099 1930-10 Paddington

GWR Castle class 4-6-0 No 4099 Kilgerran Castle departs from Paddington with a down express in October 1930.

Peter Kerslake says "The leading Clerestory coach behind 4099 Kilgerran Castle does not match up to the fine looking one on the left as this working heads under Bishops Road bridge. Built at Swindon in August 1926 and allocated from new to Old Oak Common "Kilgerran Castle" later served at Newton Abbot, Penzance, Swansea's Landore, Neath and finally at Llanelly from where it was condemned in September 1962."
