Ex-Great Western Railway Collett 'Castle' class 4-6-0 No. 5069 'Isambard Kingdom Brunel'. Built at Swindon in June 1938 and withdrawn in February 1962.

The iconic namelplate carried by 5069 must be one of the longest one-row nameplates ever to adorn a locomotive. Other contestants anyone? Plymouth Laira MPD in the 1960s is the host to this 'Castle' named after that most famous of Victorian engineers.
