An iconic 1960s scene at Exeter St. David's Station finds former GWR and SR express locomotives in company. Ex-GWR Collett 'Castle' No. 4088 'Dartmouth Castle' is under way at the helm of a parcels train whilst ex-SR Bulleid 'West Country' No. 34033 'Chard' has arrived with a passenger working. 4088 was built at Swindon in July 1925 and was withdrawn in May 1964. 34033 was built at Brighton in July 1946 and was withdrawn in Dec. 1965.
