Peter Kerslake writes "With the late Teddy Boston also taking a photo, 92087 rolls a freight of iron ore wagons Northwards through Gloucester Central. With a 2D (Banbury) shed allocation 92087 represents one of the last class of steam locomotives still working from the Midlands down and back to South Wales in this the last year of steam in the Gloucester area. Severn Tunnel Junction shed was still open to steam at this time but by October of that year the number of steam workings had reduced substantially, and by the end of 1965 they ceased entirely".
