CR 126 1890s Dundee West MPD
Caledonian Railway Brittain '125' or 'Dundee Bogie' class 4-4-0 No. 126. Built by Neilson & Co. of Glasgow in 1877, rebuilt at St. Rollox in 1877 and withdrawn by 1910. The various Victorian and Edwardian era designs of 4-4-0 were the principal express passenger locomotives of their time. In terms of graceful appearance and beautiful liveries, they have never been surpassed.
