A gleaming ex-works ‘Saint’ on a local train at Swindon in March 1948. The fresh paintwork shows no sign of ownership as decisions on how to do so had not yet been made and the tender sides remained blank. In the old GWR tradition however the number was shown as usual on the front bufferbeam. No 2933 ‘Bibury Court’ was built in 1911 and withdrawn by BR in January 1953.
