6002 1957-08-24 Tigley

GWR King 4-6-0 No 6002 King William IV and Castle No 5099 Compton Castle with train 133 (the 10.35am SO Paddington-Penzance) at Tigley on 24 August 1957.
Peter Kerslake says "This relief to the down Saturday Cornish Riviera had a pair of 4-6-0s working together to Pymouth from Newton Abbot, the pilot engine 6002 having come off the first part of the train at Newton Abbot and added in front of 5099. The pair climb up to the top of Tigley, just to the east of Plymouth. The "King" seems to be letting 5099 do all the work!"
