Pictured about to leave platform one at Paddington on a Woverhampton express 6014 clearly shows the bracket between the inside valve covers dating back to its streamlined days. The bracket was use for the Reporting Number frame which could not be attached to the smokebox door in the customary fashion due to the engine's streamlined "bullet nose" carried briefly in its GWR streamlineed days. 6014 was the very last of the blue "Kings" being reallocated to Woverhampton Stafford Road from Laira in the early ' fifties.
