GWR King 4-6-0 No 6016 King Edward V, with nameplate and brackets removed, waits at Exeter St.Davids with a down express (415) on June 6, 1959. 2-6-2T No 4136 waits on the left with a down local for Newton Abbot.

Peter Kerslake adds "For some unexplained and unknown reason Laira's 6016 has lost its nameplate and fixing brackets. It was the third King to receive new front frames and inside cylinder block and was in the works for 19 weeks from July until December 1954."
